Founded in 1965, the University of Warwick is located on a large 700 acre campus in the heart of England, conveniently close to some of the major cities of UK, including Birmingham, Coventry and London. The current student population is over 16,646 of which 20% are international students. The University has 29 academic departments and over 50 research centers and institutes, offering undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees in four faculties: arts, medicine, science and social studies. The University provides on-campus accommodation for all its first year students.
