Accommodation
One of the most pressing issues that students need to sort out, before they start their education abroad, is their accommodation. At the University of Bristol, accommodation is guaranteed for all new, full-time international students who accept an academic place at Bristol by the deadline. The University guarantees around 3,500 residential places for undergraduate students. Accommodation is also offered to new, international postgraduate students.
The University of Bristol provides accommodation in halls of residence, student houses and partnership residences. Most study bedrooms have data and telephone points to enable students to connect to the University network and keep in touch with friends and family. The University offers both catered and self-catered single and shared rooms. The residences offer a variety of social and sporting facilities, such as TV rooms, bars, launderettes, and squash and tennis courts.
The Accommodation Office helps students who prefer to live in private accommodations. The Office also helps students with particular needs, such as disabled students and those with young children.
