Facilities and Services
The University’s campuses are equipped with learning resource centres, which offer computer equipments, extensive library collections, language centres and audio-visual facilities. The Trent Park and Cat Hill campuses also boast of specialist television, video-conferencing and photographic studios, video-editing suites and dance studios and performance spaces.
The other facilities and services offered are as follows:
Careers Service
Careers Service acts as a guide to students in planning their careers and searching for jobs. It works with academic departments to ensure that students enhance their skills and work on their competencies. It also puts students in touch with prospective employers.
Counselling Services
The counseling services are offered to students who face problems that are personal or emotional in nature. They are also offered confidential advice on concerns pertaining to their coursework.
Disabled Student Support
The disabled student support service acts a guide for students suffering from sensory impairments, disabilities and medical conditions. Special provisions, if required, are offered to them for examinations.
Students’ Union
Besides offering students support and welfare, the Students’ Union also enables learners to indulge in extracurricular activities. The Middlesex University students are automatically registered as members of the student union.
Sports
Apart from the excellent academic programmes, the University also offers a wide range of sports activities. Some of the sports’ facilities offered are swimming pools, tennis courts and fitness rooms among others. Recreation facilities also include students’ union bar and other venues.
