Course description:
This course provides eighteen modules including their final project to gain an Honours degree. Some modules can also be studied individually as part of their own personal development. Topics covered: critical reading and writing, introduction to psychology 1and 2, sociology of education, community development, politics, policy and practice, social policy and legislation for children and families, creative writing, fiction and community, key concepts in citizenship, multicultural and global citizenship, psychology of education, work psychology, forensic psychology, clinical psychology and health psychology.
Entry requirements:
Students must have an A Level or a School Leavers' Certificate or Matric Certificate with proficiency in Maths and English and for students who have not studied their entry qualification in English must have an appropriate English qualification such as IELTS 6.0, TOEFL (550) or equivalent.
