Course description:
The course prepares students from any discipline for a career in Management, or an executive or management role in any industry sector. Alternatively, a student can progress on to an MBA or specialist MA programme in any management discipline, or pursue a professional qualification in accountancy; marketing; and human resource management. Typical course structure: Term 1: strategic planning and implementation; human resources planning and development; managing financial principles and techniques; strategic marketing management; communication, information technology and study skills; advanced professional development; term 2: leadership of your organisation; managing change in organisations; human resources planning and development; quality and systems planning and development; quality and systems management; term 3: management research: project and presentation.
Entry requirements:
Minimum age of 21 years; proof of competence in English e.g. IELTS 6.0 where English is not your 1st language; bachelor degree in any discipline / or equivalent qualifications; or for mature students, suitable work experience may be considered as an alternative to formal academic qualifications.
