Course description:
This course has been designed to meet the needs of the games and film industry and to enable participants to develop into skilled practitioners in the 3D games modelling and animation fields. It provides them with the skills they need to pursue a career in games modelling, film special effects, animation, multimedia and other related fields. They will be using CGI tools such as 3D Max Studio to develop techniques in animation and modelling and to gain a thorough understanding of the aesthetic, perceptual and technical factors involved in this exciting and challenging field. On successful completion, they can progress to the BSc Honours Top-Up degree or to employment.
Entry requirements:
Participants must have a minimum four GCSEs at grade C include maths and English, One A Level, BTEC National Diploma, NVQ 3 or Access to Higher Education Diploma. If English is not their first language, a minimum of IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 550 or TOEFL 80 is normally required.
